Open Letter To: Someone I Used To Know

Dear Someone I Used To Know,

I’m don't know what lesson I need to learn from your cameo appearance in this story called life.  A cameo appearance that had a larger than expected impact. You came in. You stole the show. You played an Oscar worthy role. And then you exited stage left. 

I must have been rehearsing and missed a scene because I’m lost. And this is my story! At first I pressed replay over and over and over again. Watching that scene play in my mind a thousand times, trying to put it all together. 

Now… I tucked it away. I don’t watch it anymore. If I haven’t gotten it by now, there’s no point in replaying it a thousand times. So… I placed it in the hands of The Most High. One day He will reveal it to me. When it is the right time, it will come to light. 

Until then, I have moved on to the next scene. I have so many more scenes left to experience. I cannot get stuck on just one. The show must go on. 

My story is not over!
